Abstract：In this paper ,the conceptions and properties of elementary transformations of a partitio‐ning matrix is discussed .With the method of elementary transformations of a partitioning matrix ,the problem about the equation of ranks of matrices is studied .T he simple processes of the proofs are inte‐grated into calculations in the study .
