Analysis of the Change in Urban-rural Construction Land Based on RS and GIS --- The Example of Liaocheng City of Shandong Province

Abstract：Urban‐rural construction land is the area of most profound impact by human activities on natural ,the current and future period is the key stage of the new urbanization and new rural com munity development in China ,so ,it is important of studying the changes of regional urban‐rural construction . In this paper ,utilizing the Landsat TM/ETM satellite remote sensing images of two different periods of years ,1990 and 2013 ,the GIS spatial analysis function ,Liaocheng city urban‐rural construction land changes was studied .The results showed that during the 1990‐2013 ,Liaocheng city urban‐rural con‐struction land increase obviously ;all kinds of construction land are grow th ,at the same time ,the pro‐portion of the central city and tow n construction land increased , the proportion of the villages and towns ,rural residential land proportion reduced;Liaocheng city counties (cities) of urban‐rural con‐struction land increased ,but the changes intensity has obvious regional and spatial difference .
