On the Development of the Physical Education in Senior High Schools of China's Underdeveloped Area
Abstract：In order to study the implementation of "the syllabus of Sports and Health Course in primary and high schools" in the underdeveloped regions of Shandong province, this thesis makes a research on the development of the physical education courses in the senior high schools of Guanxian County and Shenxian County, Liaocheng city, Shandong province, using the methods of documentation and questionnaire survey. It reveals the sports resources, the physical education, and students' understanding of and interests in physical education class in the underdeveloped regions, promotes more in-depth implementation of "the syllabus of Sports and Health Course in primary and high schools", provides a theoretical basis for improving the high school students' physical quality and sports science literacy and puts forward the feasible suggestions and proposals.
