Study on the Formation and Essence of the Monsoon
Abstract：The monsoon is a global circulation system, which is the cause by the seasonal migration of the ITCZ. Monsoon, in essence, is a process of the energy transfer and the hydrological cycle, and playing an important role in the global energy balance and water balance. There are six monsoon regions in global. As the Asian monsoon, the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is a key factor for its prevalence. In order to predict and prevent the disasters climate such as flood and drought, we must strengthen the research of the low-latitude processes and the uplift of the Tibetan plateau in process and mechanism of monsoon.
