Hydrothermal Synthesis and Tribological Properties of Nano/micro Calcium Borate
Abstract：Calcium borates were hydrothermally synthesized using borax and calcium nitrate as row materials.The structure and morphologies of calcium borate were investigated by XRD,FT-IR and SEM.The results exhibited that the dispersion medium influenced the morphologies of calcium borate.The tribological properties of the oleic acid modified calcium borate as lubricant additives were also evaluated on four-ball tester.
