Analysis GC-MS of Illumination Intensity on the Composition of Essential Oil in Geranium
Abstract：The purpose of our study was to analyze the change in the content and compositions in leaves of Geranium under different light intensity.The essential oils were obtained by Soxhlet extraction and analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry（GC-MS） after sampling.The results showed that the content and compositions in leaves of essential oils of Geranium were greatly different under different light conditions.The kinds of composition identified in the contrast group were less than the other two types of shading.There were 31 kinds of compounds in the group with one-story shading,and the two-story shading,while only 8 kinds in the contrast group.Moreover,the content of each composition in the contrast group were generally higher than those in the shading groups.
