Solvothermal In Situ Synthesis and Crystal Structure of Polymeric Magnesium Formate,(C3H3MgO6)n·n(C2H6NH2)
Abstract：A polymeric magnesium (Ⅱ) formate,(C3H3MgO6)n·n(C2H6NH2) (1) ,has been obtained by solvothermal in situ reaction of magnesium chloride and N,N-dimethylformamide in toluene at 100 ℃. Compound 1 has been characterized by elemental analysis,FT-IR and X-ray crystallographic diffraction analysis. In the crystal structure, a 3D metal-organic framework structure is constructed by Mg(Ⅱ) centers and formate groups,where the C2H6NH2 guests are located in the channels.
