Synthesis and characterization of dibutyltin (Ⅳ) o-vanillin-2-thiophenoylhydrazone
Abstract：A new dibutyltin(IV) complex with Schiff base of o-vanillin-2-thiophenoylhydrazone [(n-C4H9)2Sn[(C13H10N2O3S)]2 was synthesized by the reaction of (C4H9)2SnCl2 with o-vanillin-2-thiophenoylhydrazone.Complex has been characterized by elemental,IR,1H NMR analyses and X-ray crystallographic diffraction analyses.The tin atom exhibits a distorted trigonal bipyramid coordination geometry.Two molecules form a weak-bridged dimmer with weak interactions of Sn…O.
