Synthesis and Crystal Structure of One-dimensional Linear Polymer (o-FC6H4CH2)3SnOCOC5H4N-3]∞

Abstract：Reaction of tri(o-fluorobenzyl)tin chloride with sodium of 3-pyridinecarboxylic acid in 1 :1 stoichiometry yielded complexe tri(o-fluorobenzyl)tin 3-pyridinecarboxylate. The crystal structure of complex was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. In the crystals of complex,the tin atoms are rendered five-coordinate in a trigonal bipyramidal structure by coordinating with pyridine N atom of carboxylate unit. The resulting structure is a one-dimensional linear polymer.
