Abstract：A new complex Me3Sn(S3N2C8H5) was synthesized by the reaction of trimethyltin chloride with 2,5-dimercapto-4-phenyl-1,3,4-thiodiazole (bismothol),and it was characterized by elemental analysis, 1H NMR spectrum and X-ray crystallography diffraction. Its structure shows that, including Sn…S intermolecular interaction, the tin atom is five-coordinated with distorted trigonal bipyramidalgeometry. Moreover, it is a 1D infinite chain through Sn…S intermolecular interactions.
