Synthesis and Crystal Structure of [Ni(C18H22N2O4)·2CH3OH]

Abstract：The novel nickel complex, [Ni(C18H22N2O4)·2CH3OH],has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis and X-ray single crystal diffraction analysis. The central atom Ni(Ⅱ) is six-coordinate with two nitrogen atoms and four oxygen in a distorted octahedral configuration. The crystal of title complex (C20H28N2NiO6, Mr = 451.15) belongs to orthorhombic, space group Pna2 (1) with the following crystallographic parameters:a= 10. 048 9(16) (A) ,b=21. 020(3) (A) ,c= 9. 976 9(16) (A) ,α=β=γ=90°,V=2 107.4(6)(A)3,Z=4,Dc=1. 422 Mg · m-3,μ(MoKα)=0. 959 mm-1,F(000)=952,and final R1=0. 025 8,wR2=0. 062 8.
