A Novel Cleavage S-C Bond of 2,5-Dimercapto-1,3,4-thiodiazole and Its two-Dimensional Crystal Structure with Dibenzyltin

Abstract：A complex of dibenzyltin derivation was synthesized by the reaction of dibenzyltin dichloride with 2, 5-dimercapto-1,3,4-thiodiazole that one of carbon-sulfur bonds cleaved during the reaction. Its crystal structure was determined by X-ray diffraction, the weak interactions between tin and nitrogen atoms make the compound a dimmer and the coordination number of tin atom ambiguous.The high-atom interactions between adjacent sulfur atoms connected the dimers to form a twodimensional plane.
