A Novel Cleavage S-C Bond Reaction of Dibenzyltindichloride with 2,5-Dimercapto-1, 3,4-thiodiazole and Its Crystal Structure

Abstract：A complex of organotin was synthesized by the reaction of dibenzyltin dichloride with 2,5-dimercapto-1,3,4-thiodiazole. During the reaction, under a very gentle condition,one of carbon-sulfur bonds cleaved. The weak interactions between tin and nitrogen atoms make the compound a dimmer and the coordination number of tin atom ambiguous. The high atom interactions between adjacent sulfur atoms connected the dimers to form a two-dimensional plane.
