SYNTHESIS AND CRYSTAL STRUCTURE OF(PhCH2)3SnS2CN(C4H8O)

Abstract：The (PhCH2)3SnS2CN (C4H8O)was synthesized by the reaction of tribenzyltin chloride with morpholinyldithiocarbamate, its crystal structure was determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction. The crystallographic data are as follows: triclinic, space group P-1, a = 0. 984 17 (16) nm, b = 1.081 63 (19) nm, c =1.3788(2) nm,a＝72.850(3)°,ββ=88.895(3)°,γ=64.231(3)°,Z=2,V=1.2528(4) nm3,Dx=1. 469 g/cm3,μ= 1.204 mm-1, F(000)=564,R = 0.0328, wR = 0.099 5 (I≥2a (I)). The structures comsist of discrete molecules containing five-corrdinate tin atoms in a seriously distorted tigonal bipyramidal configuration. The unit cell comtains two independent molecules that are practically superimposable.
