Research on “Three-in-one” Compound Stowing Supporting Technology for Soft Rock Roadway in Deep Mine

Abstract：Kouzidong Coal Mine is a kilometer deep shaft featured by thick overburden, large cross-sectional area of roadways, soft rock strata, high ground stress and difficult support of the roadway. Based on the repeated investigation and practice, a “three-in-one” compound stowing support pattern was applied and the roadway deformation was under effective control. Meanwhile, the mine independently developed a stowing support material and creatively used the long-distance automatic transportation system to convey the stowing material from the surface to the underground coal mining district. The mine also upgraded the roadway heading machinery so as to ensure the continuity and timeliness of the support. The use of this support pattern has obtained better supporting effect and economic benefits.
