Design and Implementation of Mine Low-frequency Wireless Voice Communications Schemes

Abstract：This paper analyzed the transmission characteristics of mine electromagnetic waves and the features of the transmission media of mine electromagnetic waves, proposed the schemes for selecting the mine low-frequency wireless voice communication frequencies, and analyzed and calculated the optimum communication frequencies for through-the-earth communication in mines;it also put forward the processing scheme for the voice with high compression rate, and achieved the hardware design and implementation of this scheme. The experiments showed that this design could better implement the voice communication in the mine with the depth more than 400 m and basically meet the requirements of the surface-underground wireless voice communication.
