Mechanical Analysis on Design of Distillation Column Used in Low-concentration Coal-bed Gas Cryogenic Liquefaction Device

Abstract：According to the concept of practical near minimum thermodynamic condition ( PNMTC) , thermal and hydraulic analysis were carried out on the distillation column which is used in low-concentration coal-bed gas cryogenic liquefaction device, and by using column grand composite curves ( CGCCs ) , the method for determining the design parameters of the distillation column was put forward. The analysis on the actual cases showed that the reasonable design parameters of the distillation column could effectively reduce the operating power consumption and energy loss, eliminate the operating bottlenecks of the distillation column and finally achieve the energy saving.
