Abstract:In this paper, systematic study was made on the strata behaviour characteristics of the nearly shallow-buried coal seam with large mining height by taking the mining conditions of 30101 working face in Hanglaiwan Coal Mine as the engineering background and using the similar simulation technology and site measurement, the results indicated that the first weighting interval of the working face in this mine was about 60 m, the periodic weighting interval was about 15. 56 m and the working resistance of supports was 10 850 kN, which can meet the site requirement; the peak value of the advance stress was basically in a tendency to increase before weighting and to decrease after weighting, the dynamic load coefficient was in a change regularity from big to small, then to big and then to small again; the large and small periodic weighting of the working face appeared alternatively, the caving angles of the strata during small periodic weighting were different, in a distribution of the upper large and the lower small; in the advance process of the working face, six small periodic weightings appeared in the middle test area of the face, accounting for 54. 5% of the total number of weightings.
