Abstract:In order to effectively control the dynamic movement of surface above the shallow-buried coal seam with thin bedrock in the process of mining, in this paper, further study was carried out on the dynamic characteristics of the surface movement above the shallow-buried coal seam with thin bedrock during mining by taking 511011 working face in Shangwan Mine in Shenfu Dongsheng Coal Mining Area as an example and through six-month site surface movement monitoring, analysis was made on the shape and closing causes of surface cracks induced by mining, and the rock movement parameters were obtained, including the initial distance, the angle of advance influence, the maximum subsidence velocity of surface and the lag angle of maximum subsidence velocity. The study results indicated that the fully mechanized caving mining of the coal seam with thin bedrock had the features of intensive surface movement, short duration, rapid surface subsidence velocity and larger initial distance, the dynamic movement of the surface was featured by short initial and active period and longer degenerating period, the plane geometrical shapes of surface cracks development was oval, and the range affected by mining beyond the gob was about 60 m.
