Gas Control Technology and Practice of High-output and Efficiency Fully Mechanized Coal Face

Abstract：This paper, by taking 81306 fully mechanized working face in Baode Coal Mine as an example, gave a description of the comprehensive gas prevention and control measures mainly applied in the high-output and efficient fully mechanized caving coal face, including the gas dilution by ventilation, gas drainage by drilling holes along seam, gas drainage from gob, gas drainage by high-level holes, gas control at the upper corner angle and so on. With these measures, the safe mining of the high-output and efficient fully mechanized caving coal face was achieved and the gas problem in the face was solved, this thus provided a certain experience for the gas prevention and control of the similar mines and fully mechanized caving coal faces.
