Research on Bounding-Box Repositioning Algorithm in Coal Mine

Abstract：The Bounding-Box repositioning algorithm based on TOF ( time of flight ) was proposed according to the requirements of the coal miners ’ positioning system to the real-time performance and positioning precision. This algorithm combined the advantages of TOF ranging free from environmental interference and Bounding-Box calculation with high real-time performance. The distance was obtained by ranging the node to be positioned to the reference node,and after the initial regional information was obtained with Bounding-Box, the positioned node was taken into account, and then the repositioning was conducted by Bounding-Box algorithm so as to reduce the region where the unknown node was and finally obtain the position information. The experimental results showed the proposed algorithm has the advantages of high real-time performance and positioning precision.
