Study on Influence of Coal Composition upon Hydrophilicity of Coal Dust

Abstract：In this PaPer,the influence of coal comPosition on coal dust hydroPhilicity was studied with sedimentation method in order to imProve the water ability of wetting hydroPhobic coal dust and its dust removal efficiency. The exPerimental results showed that volatile matter in coal samPle was the main factor imPacting on the hydroPhilicity of coal dust,the hydroPhilicity of anthracite dust was better than that of bituminous coal dust,and the hydroPhilicity of the bituminous coal dust was better than that of the lignite dust. On the whole,the hydroPhilicity of coal samPle increased with the increase of the ash and fixed carbon content. The exPerimental results Provided some basic data for the develoPment of coal dust wetting agent suitable for different coal comPosition.
