Application of Mine High-density Resistivity Method in Detection of Water-filled Karst Fissures

Abstract：The water inrush from the water-filled karst fissures seriously threats the construction safety in Tonghua Coal Mine, for this purpose, the mine high-density resistivity method was used for the detection of the water-filled karst fissures in order to eliminate the hidden trouble of the mine water inrush. In this paper, the basic principle of the mine high-density resistivity method was described, the characteristics of the mine full-space electric current field was analyzed, the test and measurement of the geo-electric interference and the positioning of the full-space abnormal bodies were carried out, and finally analysis was made according to the detection examples of the water-filled karst fissures in Tonghua Mine.
