Abstract:Transient electromagnetic technique has been widely used in coal mines for water disaster detection due to its good sensitivity to the water body. This technique required that the antenna should be easily carried, the energy of the excited second field should be strong, the receiving antenna should have a broad dynamic range and it should not be distorted in detection. In this paper, analysis was made on the relation between the second field and transmitting antenna, and the best parameters of the transmitting antenna were obtained by experiments;the differential time-sharing amplification and filtration technology were used to expand the dynamic range of the receiving antenna and suppress the external noise;and the detachable hard bracket was used to prevent the antenna from distorting in detection. The accuracy of the antenna was verified by site tests.
