Abstract:Monitoring was conducted on the ground behavior law in 601 fully-mechanized first-mining caving face with large mining height in a mine by using the site monitoring method. Through the analysis of the monitoring data, the ground behavior law of 601 fully-mechanized face was revealed, and it was found that the mean distance of the first weighting in this face was about 35 m, the mean distance of the periodic weighting was 22. 95~27. 20 m, 25. 2 m on an average, and the weighting time was 2 days. The immediate roof of the face caved layer by later, the lower mudstone layer caved first, and then the upper grit layer, the distance of the first caving was about 16. 75 m. This research result has a reference value for the mining design of other faces and the optimization design of support parameters of roadways and starting cuts in this mine.
