Magnetic Prospecting Technology for Dangerous Coal Spontaneous Combustion Area and Its Applications

Abstract：With the increase of mining depth and intensity, spontaneous fire of coal seam become more and more serious. The existence of spontaneous combustion area of coal seams may harm the exploration, construction and safe production of the coal mine. In this paper, the basic principle of magnetic prospecting of mine field was described, it was applied in the evaluation of the dangerous spontaneous combustion area of coal seams in Shagoucha Mine, and the boundary position of the dangerous spontaneous combustion area of coal seams was determined. This research result can provide an important theoretical guidance for the prediction and early warning of the spontaneous fire area in Shagoucha Mine, and also has certain reference significance for the prevention and control of coal spontaneous fire in other mines.
