Study of Rock Pressure Regularity in Fully Mechanized Face in Thick Seam with High Stress and Large Mining Height

Abstract：Based on the actual measurement results of rock pressure in 4303 working face in Changping Mine, systematical study was carried out on the rock pressure regularity in the working face with large mining height. The research results showed that the dynamic load coefficient during the periodic weighting of the working face was 1. 04 ~ 2. 01, an average of 1. 35;the average yield load of the powered supports was mainly distributed in 4 000 ~ 9 000 kN, the support had good yield load and can completely meet the requirements of roof support; increasing the setting load of the powered support was helpful for the improvement of roof stability.
