Experiment Study of Influence of Water Content on Gas Adsorption Constant and Initial Velocity of Gas Diffusion

Abstract：Experimental study was carried out on the influence of water content upon the gas adsorption characteristics and the initial gas diffusion velocity of gassy coal samples with the gas adsorption constant tester and the initial velocity tester of gas diffusion. The study results showed that there was a linear relationship between the water content and the gas adsorption constant a, the reciprocal of water content correction factor and the initial velocity of gas diffusion, and there was not a fixed relation between the water content and the gas adsorption constant b. The experimental results have a certain theoretical value for further studying the gas adsorption characteristics and the law of gas power after coal disturbance.
