Abstract:The gob-side entry retained in the fully-mechanized top-coal caving face has the features of thick coal seam, large cross section, coal seam as roof and so on, these features often cause large deformation of the rock around the gob-side entry retained in the fully-mechanized top-coal caving face, so it is necessary to study the stability of the gob-side entry and the stress-strain regularity of its surrounding rock. Analogy simulation was carried out on the gob-side entry retained in the fully-mechanized top-coal caving face in Wangzhuang Mine with the large scale simulation test stand. Through the analysis of the position of roof rupture, the un-caved top-coal length in the fully mechanized top-coal caving face, the width of filling belt and the deformation of roof and two rib-sides, rational parameters were determined and the stable filling belt and good result of gob-side entry were achieved.
