Development and Application of Operating Life Test Device of Conveyor Belt Splicer

Abstract：The conveyor belt is easy to fracture due to its splicer fatigue in use. For this purpose, an operating life test device for conveyor splicer was developed. This device adopts a sliding table as the test base, an electric motor and reducer as driving system, apply a hydraulic system for the tension control of the conveyor belt, a photoelectric sensor for the revolution measurement, an industrial PC and programmable controller for the implementation of centralized - distributed control. Experimental verification showed that this test system is reliable in operation and can meet the test requirements.
