Application of Ultrasound Leakage Detector in Wangpo Coal Mine

Abstract：The leakage detection of gas drainage pipeline has extremely important practical significance for the improvement of the drained gas concentration in a coal mine. This paper described a new gas drainage pipeline leakage detector based on the ultrasonic theory,and the detector was used for the leakage detection of the gas drainage pipeline network in Wangpo Mine. The application results indicated that this leakage detector can accurately locate the leakage source of the gas drainage pipeline and its detection accuracy can meet the requirements for leakage detection of gas drainage pipeline network in coal mines. This leakage detector can provide technical support for improving the drained gas concentration and guaranteeing the safety of underground gas drainage pipeline network.
