Research on Relation between Methane Emission and Coal Seam's Depth
Abstract：Based on site tests, the relation between gas emission rate andcoabed's depth was quantitatively studied in this paper. And a new method of computing gas emission rate was put forward. The results indicated that the gradient of gas emission rate (especially the relative gas emission rate) would increase with the increase of coalbed's depth. A formula that reflect this relation was given in the paper.
