Review and Consideration of Caving mining of Outburst Seams in Luling Mine
Abstract：This paper analyzed several main problems in the sublevel cavingmining of outburst coal seams, described the trial application of this mining method in No.8 extra－ thick outburst Seam in recent years in this mine, and on the comprehensive technological and economic analysis basis, put forward two gas prevention techniques of gas pre－ drainage with in－ seam long boreholes and the extraction of lower protective seams which should be emphatically tested in the future when sublevel caving mining method is to be practiced in No.8 seam.
