Takeaways of air medical evacuation in the"Peace Angel-2023"joint health service exercise between China and Cambodia

Abstract：This paper sorts out and analyzes the experience and shortcomings of our military air medical team during different stages of preparation and implementation in the China-Cambodia 'Peace Angel-2023' joint medical exercise. It points out problems such as weak forward treatment capabilities, unreasonable personnel grouping, and inconsistent evacuation levels and mechanisms. It proposes suggestions such as further combining theory with practice, reasonable personnel allocation, and establishing a joint exercise mechanism. The authors believe that through joint exercises, we can further build a reasonable, efficient, and scientific air medical evacuation mechanism, and enhance the support capability of our military's air medical evacuation under different regions, environments, and scenarios.
