Abstract:Objective To study the relationships between Killip grading and serum levels of minimal microRNA-33(miR-33)and minimal microRNA-122(miR-122)as well as the QRS durations of electrocardiograms in patients with non ST segment elevation myocardial infarction so as to provide data for assessment of related diseases. Methods In this prospective case-control study,96 patients with myocardial infarction treated in Nanchong Central Hospital between October 2018 and January 2021 were selected as the observation group, who were divided into grade Ⅰ group(n=21),grade Ⅱ group(n=42),grade Ⅲ group(n=19),and grade Ⅳ group(n=14)based on Killip grading.Another 80 healthy adults who underwent physical examination in our hospital were selected as the control group. The serum levels of miR-33 and miR-122 and durations of QRS wave on electrocardiograms were compared between the two groups.Pearson correlation analysis was used to investigate the relationships between serum miR-33 and miR-122 levels, electrocardiogram QRS wave durations, and Killip grading in patients with coronary heart disease. Results There were statistically significant differences in serum levels of miR-33 and miR-122 and in QRS durations of ECGs between the control group and the observation group(F=72.16,56.81,23.40,all P<0.001).The serum levels of miR-33 and miR-122 and the QRS durations of ECGs in Killip Ⅳ patients were higherthan those of the control group and those of patients of grade Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ,and were higher in Killip Ⅲ patients than in the control group and in patients of grade Ⅰ and Ⅱ.These indexes were higher in Killip Ⅱ patients than in the control group and in patients of grade Ⅰ,and higher in Killip Ⅰ patients than in the control group. The differences were statistically significant(t=2.15-58.14,P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that the serum levels of miR-33 and miR-122 and QRS wave durations of ECGs were positively correlated with Killip grading(r=0.411,0.398,0.428,all P<0.001).Conclusion There is a positive correlation between serum miR-33,miR-122 levels, electrocardiogram QRS wave durations, and Killip grading in patients with coronary heart disease, which can provide reference for the assessment of conditions of non ST segment elevation myocardial infarction patients.
