Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of general anesthesia combined with bilateral femoral nerve block anesthesia on the recovery of anesthesia in patients undergoing knee arthroplasty. Methods The clinical data of 98 patients undergoing elective knee arthroplasty in our hospital between January 2016 and June 2017 was retrospectively analyzed. According to the methods of anesthesia, these patients were divided into the combined group and simple group (49 cases in each). The combined group received general anesthesia combined with bilateral femoral nerve block anesthesia, while the simple group underwent simple anesthesia. The duration of surgery, time of anesthesia, time of extubation, time spent in the recovery room, time of recovery of consciousness, amount of bleeding, time the tourniquet was used, total incursion, postoperative recovery, MAP, HR changes at T0-T5and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05). The time of extubation and the recovery time in the combined group were significantly shorter than in the simple group (P<0.001). The postoperative recovery of the combined group was better than that of the simple group (P<0.05). HR at T1was faster than at T0, but MAP was reduced (P<0.05). Compared with T2to T5, HR and MPA at T0were not significantly different in the observation group (P>0.05). In group T2and T5, HR and MAP were higher than those at T0time (P<0.05), and HR and MAP in the combined group were lower than those in the simple group at the same time (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups was not statistically significant (χ2=0.102, P=0.749). Conclusion The combination of general anesthesia with bilateral femoral nerve block anesthesia can reduce the recovery time of anesthesia in recipients of double knee arthroplasty and shorten the time spent in the recovery room, which can contribute to early extubation and stable hemodynamics of patients.
