Abstract:Objective To analyze the pregnancy outcomes of cerclage during pre-pregnancy and pregnancy under laparoscopy, and investigate its curative effect on cervical insufficiency. Methods The clinical data on 72 patients with cervical incompetence undergoing laparoscopic cervical cerclage was retrospectively analyzed, including 54 cases of pre-pregnancy cerclage (group A) and 18 cases of pregnancy cerclage (group B). Surgical outcomes and pregnancy outcomes were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in the cervical length, number of days of gestational age and the weight of the perinatal fetus between the two groups (P>0.05). Group A had less perioperative bleeding than group B, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the rates of miscarriage, premature birth, full term childbirth and perinatal survival between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic cerclage of pre-pregnancy and pregnancy is effective in treating cervical insufficiency. The operation is feasible. The effective cervical length during pregnancy can be maintained, the gestational age can be prolonged, and the perinatal outcomes can be improved. In particular, patients whose cervical length is less than 2.5 cm or whose previous cerclage was a failure during pregnancy can benefit more from surgery. It is worthy of clinical application.
