Abstract:Objective To study the therapeutic value of noninvasive continuous positive pressure breathing for emergency heart failure. Methods 126 patients with heart failure treated at the Emergency Department were selected as subjects, who were equally and randomly divided into two groups: the observation group and control group. The observation group received the noninvasive continuous positive pressure breathing machine therapy, while the control group underwent the continuous low flow oxygen nasogastric therapy. The difference of cardiac function and survival quality were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group patients was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05).Before treatment, cardiac function indexes and life quality scores were not significantly different between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the above indexes of all the patients became significantly higher (P<0.05), especially in the observation group (P<0.05).Conclusion Noninvasive continuous positive pressure breathing machine therapy can help to improve cardiac function and survival quality for emergency patients with heart failure, and is worthy of clinical popularization and application.
