Abstract:Objective To analyze the incidence and influencing factors of in-stent restenosis after PCI in young and middle-aged patients with coronary artery disease (CHD). Methods Clinical data on one hundred patients with ischemic coronary artery disease who had undergone PCI at our hospital between November 2012 and October 2015 was retrospectively analyzed. These patients were divided into recurrence and non-recurrence group according to the occurrence of stent recurrent stenosis 6-12 months after PCI. Such blood parameters as age, sex ratio, medication compliance, smoking and drinking history, complications, blood lipid and total cholesterol levels were recorded and compared. Correlation analysis was made between the two groups. Results Univariate analysis of in-stent restenosis after percutaneous coronary intervention in young and middle-aged patients with coronary heart disease showed there was significant difference in the incidence of hypertension, total cholesterol, smoking history, and low-density lipoprotein (HDL) between the recurrence group and the non-recurrent group (P<0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis suggested that coronary heart disease complicated with hypertension, high levels of total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein, and smoking history were independent risk factors for in-stent restenosis after PCI in young and middle-aged patients with coronary heart disease. Conclusion Coronary heart disease, hypertension, high total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein, and smoking are risk factors for in-stent restenosis after coronary artery stenosis in young and middle-aged patients. We should be alert to these factors, take precautions and reduce the incidence of restenosis by lowering the blood pressure and lipid levels of patients or reminding them to quit smoking.
