Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of emergency treatment of acute attack of asthma with Chuankezhi. Methods The clinical data of 60 patients who had received treatment for acute asthma in our hospital between June 2015 and June 2016 was analyzed and divided into two groups. The thirty patients who were treated with the conventional scheme for emergency treatment were chosen as the control group while another thirty patients treated with Chuankezhi served as the observation group. The scores of asthma symptoms, lung function and immune function were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of asthma symptoms during the nighttime and daytime and PEF, FEV1, FEV1% values were improved after treatment, especially in the observation group (P<0.01). After treatment, CD8+ and CD4+ in the observation group were (30.03±1.18) % and (48.95±1.85) % respectively, compared with (35.10±1.32) % and (40.80±1.68) % (P<0.01) in the control group. Conclusion For patients with acute attack of asthma, emergency treatment with Chuankezhi can improve the lung function and immune function. Therefore, this approach is worthy of popularization and clinical application.
