Diagnostic value of MDCT for patients of senile pulmonary tuberculosis with lung cancer

Abstract：ObjectiveTo analyze the value of application of multislice CT to diagnosis of patients of senile pulmonary tuberculosis with lung cancer.Methods120 elderly patients were evenly divided into three groups: patients with pulmonary tuberculosis (Group One), patients with lung cancer (Group Two) and those with pulmonary tuberculosis accompanied by lung cancer (Group Three). All of them were given routine scan and enhanced scan. The routine CT scan imaging characteristics of the three groups and enhanced scan data of Group One and Two were recorded and compared.ResultsThere was significant difference in the results ofregular scanbetween the three groups (P<0.05). The imaging of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis changed considerably and the difference was of statistical significance (P<0.05). There was significant difference in the results of enhanced scan between Group One and Group Two (P<0.05).ConclusionMultislice CT is of significant clinical value for the diagnosis of patients with senile pulmonary tuberculosis accompanied by lung cancer.
