Abstract:ObjectiveTo observe and analyze the erythrocyte and thrombocyte parameters of patients with psoriatic arthritis. MethodsWe detected the erythrocyte and thrombocyte parameters of 51 cases with psoriatic arthritis (PsA), 51 cases with psoriasis vulgaris (PV) and 51 normal controls (NC) using a full automatic hematology analyzer. Results ①Red blood cell count (RBC) of PV group decreaseded significantly compared with normal control (P=0.000) and PsA group (P=0.007). The mean corpuscular volume (MCV), mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH), and mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC) of PV group increased significantly compared with normal control (P=0.000) and PsA group (P<0.05), while red blood cells volume distribution width (RDW) was decreased significantly compared with normal control (P=0.000).②Platelet count (PLT) and plateletcrit (PCT) of PsA group increased significantly compared with normal control (P=0.000) and PsA group (P=0.001). while the mean platelet volume (MPV) of PV group decreased significantly compared with normal control (P=0.000) and PsA group (P=0.000), RDW increased significantly (P=0.000) .ConclusionThe generation and functions of erythrocytes and thrombocytes are abnormal among patients with psoriasis. There is obvious difference between PV and PsA. The clinical significance is worthy of further studies.
