Disease spectrum analysis in temporary grounded ifghter pilots

Abstract:Objective To analyze diseases features in temporary grounded fighter pilots in order to take measures to improve aviation medicare and reduce grounded rate.Methods 70 fighter pilots' clinical data were collected. They had been diagnosed as "temporary grounded" by Air Force General Hospital. Their diseases, associated departments, ages were statistically analyzed.Results The 6 most common diseases were arrhythmia, hypertension, vascular headache, tension headache, vertigo, and knee joint injury. The most frequently associated departments were cardiology, neurology, ENT, orthopedics, and oncology. Pilots' age ranged from 30 to 49.Conclusion Integrating clinical treatment, psychological talk, rehabilitation training and health education may improve diseases and reduce grounded rate.
