Abstract:ObjectiveTo study the clinical pathological features and prognosis of triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC). MethodsThe clinical pathological features and prognosis of 493 patients treated by surgery from February 2001 to February 2010 in the 307th Hospital of PLA with histopathology conformed diagnosis were retrospectively analyzed.ResultsTNBC was correlated with younger(<35 y)and higher histological grade(P<0.05). The TNBC 5-year disease-free survival(DFS) (58.5%) was lower than the non-TNBC(76.5%)(P<0.05).TheTNBC 5-year overall survival (OS)(70.5%) was lower than non-TNBC(86.5%)(P<0.05).ConclusionTNBC has special clinicopathological features with higher risk of recurrence and poor prognosis. The auxiliary treatments of TNBC need to be further explored.
