Abstract:ObjectiveTo understand the influencing factors of the attention span of the military flying personnel. Methods Total of 340 male flying personnel who were recovering in the aviation medical training center were recruited as the subjects in 2013. The attention span tests were measured with JCW-E psychological experimental platform from Tianjin Normal College Teaching Equipment Technology Company. Statistical analysis of data was measured with t-test. Results ①The accuracy of attention span test of the group of20~30 years was better than that of the group of 31~40 years old. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The accuracy of attention span test of the group of 31~40 years was better than that of the age over 40 group. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).②The accuracy of attention span test of the group whose total flying hours were under 1 000 h was better than that of the group whose total flying were more 1 000 h. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).③Attention span test accuracy of different types of flying personnel showed no statistical difference (P>0.05).ConclusionThe relationship between age and the attention span of flying personnel is close.
