Abstract:Objective To discuss, through the determination of serum hypersensitive c-reactive protein (hs -CRP) and homocysteine (Hcy) concentration, transient ischemic attack (TIA), and provide precise basis for clinical treatment based on syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine. Method 180 patients with TIA were chosen as observation group and 30 cases of healthy subjects as control group. TIA patients, according to syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine, can be divided into 5 types: liver wind agitation, the wind phlegm on interference, phlegm turbidity occlusion, debility blood stagnation syndrome, and vein stasis resistance. Serum of TIA patients and healthy controls were used respectively with the hs - detect CRP, Hcy, and comparison between groups was made. Results Observation group hs-CRP and serum Hcy concentration was higher than the control group significantly (P<0.01), and the TIA group of each type of syndrome, Phlegm turbidity occlusion serum hs-CRP were significantly higher than other 4 types (P<0.05); Vein stasis resistance serum Hcy concentration is significantly higher than other 4 types (P<0.05). Conclusion Serum hs - the rise of CRP, Hcy concentration is not only the important etiology of TIA, but also reflects that its severity, hs - CRP serum, Hcy concentration can be used as one of the objective index TIA of traditional Chinese medicine.
