Abstract:Objective Subjects with papilla of optic nerve were observed to evaluate the significance of physiological cup in the early diagnosis of glaucoma. Methods Optic disc morphology direct ophthalmoscope was observed. Observation record discs, physiological cup, plate along the width and depth of the physiological cup were recorded with William method, along with the temporal width of the optic disc and optic disc along the width of the transverse diameter ratio of quasi. Results Cup disc ratio frequency distribution with normal distribution curve was obtained. Eye cup disc ratio was larger than 0.2 to 51 people, accounting for 2.20%. Plate along the width more than 0.2 accounted for 97.96%, more pale orange. Plate along the width of the<0.2 accounted for only 2.04%. Conclusions C/D ≥0.6 or C/D≥0.2 between two eyes is one of the important means for early diagnosis of open-angle glaucoma, which has important significance.
