Clinical observation on fire-needle therapy combined with filiform-needle therapy for treatment on military training injuries of knee joint’s soft tissues

Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of fire-needle therapy combined with filiform-needle therapy for treatment on military training injuries of knee joint’s soft tissues. Methods One hundred and twenty-six cases of such disease were divided into two groups by random number table. 64 cases of the treatment group were treated by fire-needle therapy combined with filiform-needle therapy, and 62 cases of the control group were treated by only routine treatment. Evaluate the clinical efficacy of two groups. Results The respective rate of total effectively cured and good improvement were 75.0% and 92.2% in treatment group, while 48.4% and 69.4% in control group. There were statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion The therapeutic effect of fire-needle therapy combined with filiform-needle therapy for treatment on military training injuries of knee joint’s soft tissues is better than that of routine treatment.
