Mechanical ventilation in post perfusion lung
Abstract:Objective To review the experience in mechanical ventilation in 6 post perfusion lung cases after open heart surgery under cardiopulmonary bypass. Method Traditional mechanical ventilation models were performed in 3 cases and lung protective mechanical ventilation models were used in the other 3 cases. Result The perioperative mortality was 33.3%(1/3) in the traditional mechanical ventilation group, and there was no death in the other group. Conclusion Lung protective mechanical ventilation models have advantages superior to that of traditional mechanical ventilation models, which have less ventilator-induced lung injury and is beneficial to post perfusion lung patients.
