Abstract:Pulmonary enteric adenocarcinoma(PEAC)is a rare subtype of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).The etiology of this disease remains unclear, and its clinical manifestations and radiological features lack specificity. This article retrospectively analyzed two cases of PEAC confirmed by pathology and other comprehensive diagnostic methods, aiming to explore the clinicopathological characteristics and therapeutic strategies of PEAC.Pathological examination of PEAC showed that the intestinal differentiation component accounts for more than 50.00%,and the immunohistochemical markers CK20,CDX2,and CK7 were highly specific. The treatment of PEAC mainly followed the therapeutic principles of non-small cell lung cancer, with surgical resection being the primary approach in the early stages. For advanced patients, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy were available strategies. The cases reported in this study represent the third domestic case of PEAC confirmed by genetic testing to harbor the KRAS G12V mutation, and the patients were treated with a combination of immunotherapy and chemotherapy. This article aims to provide reference experience for the clinical treatment of PEAC and to guide future research, with the hope of developing more effective therapeutic methods and strategies in the future.
